14:00-14:30 William Bell Building a Wake-up-on LAN setup A simple problem is introduced that requires a wake-up-on LAN solution. A Raspberry Pi is used, together with a Bash script, to provide a simple command-line application that wakes up PCs on the local network. Intermediate
15:00-15:30 Martin Evans Journey to Mars Details about the seven week Primary School course we run. Using CamJam Edukit 3's and Raspberry Pi's participants build Martian Rovers, explore what it would be like to journey and live on Mars and solve challenging problems. Intermediate

Talks

Each talk is allocated ten minutes for the talk and ten minutes for a following discussion period. At the end of this time, the speaker will move into the Mitchell Library café area, such that there might be more discussion.

Raspberry Pi projects

A large number of Raspberry Pis will be installed in the Mitchell Library café area. These will include a range of different example programs and attached hardware. Amanda Ford will also be present to demonstrate some Minecraft programming with Python.
